Pedro's Mexican Food

Don't ever stop in Elk City, Oklahoma unless you need to buy drugs in a parking lot. The town is run down, depressed, has crappy hotels at high prices, and reeks of myth addiction. But, if for some cursed reason you do land here the place to go to is Pedro's Mexican Food on West 3rd Street. They serve you chips and salsa and liquid nacho cheese like at the skating rink. The food isn't all that great-white people mexican-beans and rice with lots of cheese, iceberg lettuce, tomato etc. But it seems like the friendliest place in town...the only place the locals go-as it was packed with families and rodeo dudes. You can catch a novel glance at a rodeo guy munching on a burrito. I ordered one enchilada and a taco-both tasted the same, the ingredients of each were just placed on the plate in a different order. Basically, if you don't want to eat at a chain, this is the safest place you can eat in town.
